ENRON: WE’LL GET YOU HOME
An alien, Bob, is driving a pickup truck across the surface of an unknown planet. Bob has an oblong head, a human face and huge spaghetti arms that flap out the windows in the breeze.
Above the dashboard hangs a picture of an alien girl. Presumably his girl.
“Sister Golden Hair” by America plays. We see Bob singing along. “I’m not ready / for the alter / but I do believe there’s times / when a woman sure can be a friend of mine.”
Suddenly, a sputtering sound. Bob’s truck begins to slow down. A light on the dashboard blinks: NO JUICE. We see Bob kicking the tires, which are shaped like lemons. We see him open the hood: it’s full of spaghetti and meatballs. Bob frowns, his giant arms pooling sadly by his sides.
Another truck appears. A duo of similar-looking aliens wearing Enron tee shirts are driving the truck. They call out to Bob, “Hey man, you want a ride?”
One of the Enron guys hooks his long arms to Bob’s truck. We see a stop-motion of their journey together to the Enron gas station. We see Bob fill his car with “Eco-friendly juice.” The lady alien in the picture smiles.
QUICK ZOOM on an image in the background — a poorly drawn earth, which winks.
A narrator reads, “Enron, we’ll get you home.”
